ABOUT DON’S — DUST & HORNS PHOTOGRAPHY

I didn’t plan on coming back to photography. Life moved on, and my camera sat untouched for years.

Then one afternoon, a bull tore through the arena and the whole world paused. Instinct kicked in — I lifted the camera, hit the shutter, and everything I’d forgotten came rushing back.

That moment started Dust & Horns.

Rural Australia shapes everything I shoot — the dust, the heat, the long shadows, the people who live close to the land. I’m drawn to the in‑between moments: the quiet before the chaos, the softness inside the strength, the stories written in a horse’s posture or a rider’s hands.

And when I’m not covered in dust, you can usually find me on the sidelines, capturing tomorrow’s baseball legends.

I love the moments most people miss — the breath between the chaos, the quiet inside the noise.
